Starting a new year here in Korea, I’m sending you a Happy New Year card. Grandpa loves to see the Milky Way, but these days, it’s hard to find it in the sky. I remembered an old song and drew this. “Above the blue sky, in the Milky Way, there’s a white boat. With a tall white mast, how smoothly it travels.” Astro is also sitting next to his big cousins. Everyone is looking at the stars. Stars, like in the old days, are excellent GPS. Don’t forget this. 

Começando o novo ano aqui na Coreia mando a vocês meu cartão de Ano Novo. O vovô adora a Via Láctea, mas não a vejo mais no céu hoje em dia. Fiz este desenho lembrando uma antiga canção.“Na Via Láctea de céu azul viaja um barco branquinho. Com o seu mastro branco lá no alto como navega bem esse barquinho.” O Astro também está sentado ao lado de seus primos. Todos estão olhando as estrelas. As estrelas ainda são GPS com precisão como costumavam ser. Não se esqueçam!

한국에서 새해를 맞아 너희에게 연하장을 보낸다. 할아버지는 은하수를 좋아하는데 요즘 하늘에는 없더구나. 옛날 노래를 기억하며 그려보았단다.‘푸른 하늘 은하수에 하얀 배가 가고 있다. 하얀 돛대 높이 달고, 잘도 가고 있구나.’아로도 형들과 나란히 앉아 있다. 모두 별을 보고 있다. 별은 옛날처럼 지금도 아주 정확한 GPS란다. 잊지 말아라!
